Special Thanks
Building this site was quite the learning experience.
That being said, If not for the following I would have spent many hours banging
my head against a wall (in no particular order):
JQUERY
http://jquery.com/
This is a wonderful JavaScript library. Big timer saver. Just about anything Web
2.0 related on my sites will have a large portion of JQuery attached.
CKEDITOR
http://ckeditor.com/
Wow, what an amazing product! This is one of the best text editors I have ever seen. I was looking for a Text Editor that could handle copy and pastes from Word and of all the products I have used or seen, CKEditor is the best.
Tim Morton
http://www.jeffersonit.com/
Professor Morton helped me to start thinking of object oriented programming as an
actual object oriented programming language and not just a scripting language.
Dan Harvey
While I taught myself basic HTML and JavaScript, it was Dr. Harvey that really drove
those basics home. Dr. Harveys initial Web 1 class is where I really was able to
put everything together and start creating sites that mattered.
Dan Wilson
Dr. Wilson did two things for me. The first was that he taught me the basics of
DB design. The second was opening the door to Web 2.0 technologies. They both were instrumental in my development as a developer.
Pete Nordquist
Professor Nordquist taught me how important it is to have a well documented plan and design.
He showed me development techniques that I never knew before and are very helpful
when planning any kind of project. Information is the key to winning any battle.
The Lord
I have to give the ultimate credit to where its due. If it was not for the blessings resulting from having cancer, going through all I did and coming to this point, this website would never been possible. Because of the Lord I was able to go back to school, have the time I needed with my family and the time needed to build a site as complex as this. All Glory to Christ.
